Our vinyl record storage drawers started life as an idea for our personal use at home, but so many people commented on them that we decided to offer them to other like minded folks! The system has been developed over several years and is designed to enable us to create any size, formation or style of unit. Further to that, it can be extended at any time by adding more modules as your collection grows, or your tastes change.
Modules can be purchased as individual flat pack kits, or as completed bespoke units constructed by us, and delivered to you as a complete piece of furniture. We can supply units created from any number of modules depending on your requirments. If you choose, units can be clad in a range of materials, and custom drawers fronts created from your chosen timber. We can add base frames, wheels, feet, raised plinth bases or legs.
Each drawer can hold up to 150 records and comes complete with four removable dividers. Our own drawers hold an average of 110 records which are a mix of 12’s”, LP’s (single and double) and box sets. 100 - 120 records is comfortable, and allows the ‘flipability’ we like when searching for a record!
We can create a vinyl record & HiFi storage & display solution to meet your own individual taste and requirements. The only limit is our collective imaginations!
Everything we create is constructed here at home using traditional woodworking methods from your choice of materials.
Very often customers would like to house their HiFi and turntable on and within the unit. We can create spaces specifically designed for your equipment allowing space for air movement & cooling, while showing off you’re system!
Drawers can be fitted with drawer pulls or locks, or be full height to protect your valuable collection from pets etc.
Even the simplest unit can be created to look great on a budget. You can decorate, paint or stain the surfaces yourself, and add modules whenever you wish. Here you can see a simple two drawer unit with space for an amp, can easily be develped into a four drawer unit within the same foot print.
